Fresh Berry Tort with Granny Smith Apples
Makes 1-10 inch tort

9 oz
 Butter, cut into cubs, kept cool
9 oz
 Sliced Almonds, toasted 
3 oz
6 ea
 Whole Large Eggs
4 ea 
 Granny Smith Apples, cored and cut into 8 wedges
Line one 10-inch heavy-duty cake pan with butter and parchment paper, dust with sugar

Combine almonds, flour and butter in a food processor.

Add eggs slowly one at a time until smooth.

Pour mixture into the prepared 10-inch cake pan evenly and press-in, about half way down, the plums wedges on the top.

Place in 350-degree oven until toothpick comes out of the center clean
Flip out of pan, let cool to room temperature.

Spread on your favorite jam; line the top with fresh berries like Raspberries, Blackberries and slices of Strawberries.

Dust with a little sugar and a lot of powder sugar
